MONTREAL – Over 120,000 Hydro-Quebec customers were left without power in the Monteregie region on Monday.
According to Hydro-Quebec, the outage was triggered by protective equipment at the Chateauguay power station.

At 1:00 p.m., 118,296 were affected in the Monteregie region, with the city of Vaudreuil-Dorion particularly hard hit.
Hydro-Quebec confirmed that residents had their power back by 2:00 p.m., with only several hundred homes affected at that time.
