TORONTO – Environment Canada has issued a humidex advisory for southern Ontario.
The hot and humid air mass that is currently over the American midwest is forecast to move into southern Ontario on Tuesday.
Temperatures in southern Ontario will be in the low to mid-30s and humidex values will near 40 C.

Environment Canada said that this could feel like the hottest day of the summer in some parts.
The advisory stretches from Niagara to Peterborough and north to Midland.
Though humidex values may ease in eastern Ontario on Wednesday, the GTA and southwestern Ontario won’t catch a break until Thursday.
