Viterra downsizing its farm input business

SASKATOON – Viterra continues to downsize its farm input business.

The latest move has Viterra selling its 50 per cent share of the Gardiner Dam Terminal AgServices business unit which operates a number of farm suppliers in Saskatchewan.

It will make Gardiner Dam Terminal Ltd. the sole owners of the businesses.

The purchase price is approximately $1.9 million.

Last week, Viterra agreed to sell 17 of its fertilizer, seed and farm chemical supply centres to Federated Co-operatives Limited.
