Man rescued after being found unconscious in a pool

TORONTO- A 25-year-old male has been rescued after he was found floating unconscious in a Toronto pool.

It took place at an apartment building at the corner of Don Mills Road and Seneca Hill Drive, near Finch.

A person with lifeguard training found the man in the pool, removed him and began attempts at resuscitation. It is not clear if the lifeguard is an employee of the building.

Emergency crews took over when they arrived on the scene and were able to regain a pulse.

The victim has been taken to hospital in serious, life-threatening condition.

His identity has not been released.
