Saskatoon police are investigating the city’s sixth homicide of the year.
They had been approached by a passerby while fighting a fire early Sunday morning on Spadina Crescent West and told there was an unresponsive person on a ramp at a nearby skate park.
Quewazance, 39, was declared dead despite life-saving attempts by firefighters.
His death was confirmed as a homicide following an autopsy. Police have not released a cause of death.
No other details have been released and no arrests have been made.
The investigation into a second suspicious death on the weekend continues.
Police were called to a home in the 1200-block of College Drive after a woman’s body was discovered.
Detectives continue to investigate with the help of the coroner’s office.
Police have not released her name or the cause of death.
