CALGARY- The extensive damage left behind at the Holy Cross Centre from the June floods has prompted Alberta Health Services to permanently relocate their services.
The historic building has been relied upon for years to deliver cancer care, and clinics used to see 100 patients a day, five days a week. All of those appointments had to be cancelled, after flooding forced the building in Mission to close.

The original plan was to relocate its clinics while repairs took place, but AHS has since decided to end its lease agreements and permanently move them to locations around the city, including the Richmond Road Diagnostic and Treatment Centre.
The affected clinics are the Chronic Pain Centre, Adolescent Day Treatment Program, Colposcopy Clinic and Cancer Control services.
77 long term care residents who were evacuated from the building also won’t return to Rouleau Manor.
