Canada election results: Beloeil—Chambly

Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet is the projected winner in the riding of Beloeil–Chambly.

Beloeil—Chambly was created in the 2012 electoral boundaries redistribution. It includes an area formerly known as the electoral district of Chambly—Borduas.

The municipal and electoral boundaries of Beloeil—Chambly consist of the Regional County Municipality of Rouville, which encompasses Marieville, Richelieu, Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu and La Vallée-du-Richelieu.

It also consists of the Regional County Municipality of La Vallée-du-Richelieu, which includes Beloeil, Carignan, Chambly, Mont-Saint-Hilaire, Otterburn Park, McMasterville and Saint-Jean-Baptiste.

The NDP’s Matthew Dubé held the seat from 2015 to 2019 but was defeated by Bloc Québécois party leader Yves-François Blanchet.
