Raft Cove Provincial Park — about 130 kilometers west of Port McNeill — was supposed to be the site of a month-long gathering of several hundred World Rainbow people.
But yesterday, park officials say a group of about 40 packed up and left.
B.C. Parks says shuttle buses are also being arranged to transport remaining campers to Port Hardy tonight and tomorrow morning.
