Miracle Treat Day at participating Dairy Queens

SASKATOON – Today all proceeds from Blizzard treats at participating DQ stores will go toward the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan.

This marks the eleventh annual Miracle Treat Day in Canada, and with Saskatchewan stores, the money will stay right in the province to help out with costs associated with the Saskatchewan Children’s Hospital.

“It’s a really important cause, I think it’s really important to contribute to the new children’s hospital because it will help out families who need it and take away some of the travelling they have to do now,” said Elly Bains, the 2012 Saskatchewan champion child with the Children’s Miracle Network.

Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $4.7 billion to support research and training, purchase equipment, and pay for uncompensated care.
