SASKATOON – Tempers flared when protesters calling for the resignation of the Metis Nation Saskatchewan president were confronted by Robert Doucette himself.
The protesters picketed outside the MNS building in Saskatoon on Tuesday, at times clashing with those who support Doucette.

Vice-president Gerald Morin said 12 of 17 council members are concerned about a governance structure overhaul and about what he described as secrecy on Doucette’s part.
Morin said the body’s constitution states there should be a provincial council meeting every two months but there hasn’t been one since last December.
Doucette came out of his office and faced the crowd rallying against him, but at times was drowned out by chants.
Doucette said they are working hard to correct those areas of concern.
