Police have closed a section of downtown Peterborough after a pedestrian was struck by a city bus on Friday afternoon.
The incident occurred at the intersection of George and Simcoe streets around 2:45 p.m.
Police closed a section of George and Hunter streets and Simcoe and Aylmer streets for the collision.
An assistive-mobility walker could be seen in the intersection.
One person was seen being transported to hospital by paramedics.
No word yet on the victim’s condition or the cause of the collision.
George Street reopened around 4 p.m.
