Gallery – JAMBANA One World Festival

The JAMBANA One World Festival took over the Markham Fairgrounds Monday, August 5th. The day was packed with fun for the whole family including music and entertainment, delicious food and rides for the kids. Global Toronto’s Alan Carter took the stage to announce performers, interact with the crowd and even did some dancing up on the stage!

The food village had everything from jerk chicken and curried goat to coconut cakes and sweet potato pudding.  The festival offered an exciting line up of international, Grammy nominated and Canadian artists including Yellowman, Nadine Sutherland, and Oliver Samuels to name a few.

Global Toronto had a tent with face painting for kids and a photo booth featuring a neat JAMBANA Festival background and Global Toronto’s  Morning Show anchors, Leslie Roberts and Liza Fromer.
