Strong personalities came out on Tuesday’s PoV show. One notable personality – Russell. What a weasel. Jessie and Russell have seized the power and are acting like high school bullies. But what happens next week, when they’re no longer in power? Will they still continue to dominate the game? Jessie and Russell think they’re so smart but they’ve made enemies this week. They say behind every good man is a great woman, and in this case it’s Natalie.
With her strong personality she’s able to befriend Jessie and Russell and get them to listen to her. What I like about her is that she’s the silent but strong type who says it like it is. When Lydia confronted Natalie about being the one who put her up, Natalie didn’t try to sneak out of the situation, but said straight-up it was her idea. Unlike Ronnie….oh Ronnie. Here’s the problem with Ronnie: He can’t be trusted, and Russell picked up on it yesterday. People will tell him something and he’ll talk to someone else about it. Not only that, but his clique isn’t even communicating with one another and he throws Michelle under the bus every chance he gets. His mindless gameplay might be the reason people keep him in the house for a while. The most comical part of the episode was Ronnie revealing his big secret to Chima — he’s a national persuasive speaker champion. Wow…that’s it?
Russell won the PoV competition yesterday, and decided to use it on Lydia. Jessie put Braden up as the replacement nominee. Let’s face it: Lydia threw Braden under the bus. But what would Big Brother be without backstabbing and throwing people under the bus? And Lydia has a tendency to really suck up to people, and it’s quite obvious what she’s doing.
While I’m happy Russell used the veto on Lydia, it doesn’t make much sense. I think it will come back to haunt him later in the game. I think his decision was purely based on the fact that he is threatened by Braden, and not just as a competitor, but personally too. Everyone in the house likes Braden, whereas Russ is the big bully. Braden isn’t a big threat right now, and maybe he’ll be able to pull through this eviction.
Russell and Jeff’s fight was completely pointless. Russell is trying to ascertain his power over Jeff, and is upset that he’s not participating more in their group. I think the athletes have already targeted Jeff because he’s not being as cliquey as they are. I say, leave Jeff alone!
Spoilers:
Big fights in the BB house (shocker!). Braden starts fighting with Lydia and Kevin for throwing him under the bus. Kevin tells him he had nothing to do with it. Braden tells Russell that he was never going after him.
Jeff and Jordan are spending more time together and getting closer to each other.
Braden’s temper tantrum may be costing him some votes.
Lydia and Jordan don’t speak to each other for a couple of days and are ignoring each other. Lydia thinks that Jordan has turned on her, but she hasn’t. Jordan wonders why Lydia is ignoring her, they have it out and are resume talking.
