London police are asking for help from the public as they try to locate a missing 35-year-old.

Mohammad Jamal, of London, was last seen around 10 p.m. Wednesday in the area of Trafalgar Street and Bonaventure. He was wearing a green jacket, blue jeans, blue and white toque, and work boots at the time.

Police say Jamal has medium-length black hair and police believe he has a longer unkempt beard. He may be wearing a winter toque but police describe him as 6’1″, 180 lbs, with medium length black hair.

“Mohammad does not have access to a vehicle, and it is believed that he may be on foot in the east end of the city,” police said in an update on Friday.

“Due to the current weather conditions, we are asking members of the public for assistance in locating him.”

The city received a dumping of snow overnight Thursday with further snow squall activity possible into Friday evening.

Family and police are concerned for his welfare, adding that anyone who has seen him or believes they may have seen him since Wednesday night is asked to call police immediately.
