One person was killed and two others were injured in a crash on the Trans-Canada Highway near Banff on Wednesday.
EMS said emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes of Highway 1 near Mt. Norquay Road at around 6:45 p.m. for a single-vehicle rollover.
The crash killed a woman in her 20s, who was ejected from the vehicle and found dead at the scene, EMS said. RCMP said the 23-year-old woman was from Kelowna.

RCMP said three other passengers in the vehicle — a female youth, a man and a woman — were all assessed for minor injuries on scene and taken to a local hospital for further assessment. All of the passengers were from Kelowna, RCMP said.
The town of Banff is located about 110 kilometres west of Calgary.
