Calgary police were called to the 2900 block of Doverville Crescent S.E. around 4:45 a.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a vehicle in the street with bullet holes, police confirmed to Global News.

“My girlfriend called me this morning and told me there was a shooting on my street. I said, ‘What?’ [I] turned on the news this morning and then found out it was just a couple houses down,” neighbour Mark Vincent said.

The shots were fired directly outside of Keith Hanna’s house.

“Four or five shots, and then by the time I came to the window the cops were already arresting them,” Hanna said.

“I didn’t expect it. I don’t think anybody ever expects that outside of their house.

According to police, a second vehicle — described as a black pickup truck — was also involved but fled the scene before police arrived. Police could not confirm if shots were fire from one or both vehicles believed to be involved in the incident.

Police said they do not know how many people were in the truck. Officers are on the lookout for the vehicle.

Police said there were no injuries reported in the incident.
