My grandmother always says, "You never see smoke without fire…" I think the fact that you have had two girls call you maybe a red flag! And I think that you finding him hard to "read" maybe your gut instinct telling you that something isn’t quite right. I suggest having an honest conversation and being very clear to him your expectations of what you want in a partner and being clear that you both understand that you are in a monogamous relationship. Don’t make any assumptions that you are in a monogamous relationship until both of you have discussed it. Depending on what he says in this conversation will decide whether or not to continue a relationship with him. However if you continue a relationship with him you must commit to fully trusting him until he gives you reason not too.
