Bill Sherwin has lived nearby for 38 years.

“It’s a very friendly, outgoing neighbourhood. We’ve never had any trouble before. This is a big surprise for us,” Sherwin said.

As of late Wednesday morning, police barricades were still set up outside the 200 block of Wakaw Place. Several evidence markers were placed in the cul-de-sac.
