Swedish-born actor/director Peter Stormare has an international flare that sets him apart from other performers. Stormare recently wrapped production on the feature film “Unknown” and will next be seen in the highly anticipated “The Brothers Grimm” opposite Matt Damon and Heath Ledger. He recently starred in ” Constantine” with Keanu Reeves and “Birth” with Nicole Kidman.
Stormare’s television credits include the telefilm “Hitler: The Rise of Evil,” the series “Watching Ellie” and memorable guest appearances on “Joey” and “Seinfeld.”
Stormare has worked with exceptional directors throughout his career. He appeared in Penny Marshall’s “Awakenings,” Steven Spielberg’s “Minority Report” and “The Lost World: Jurassic Park,” the Coen brothers’ “Fargo” and “The Big Lebowski,” Joel Schumacher’s “8MM” and Michael Bay’s “Bad Boys II” and “Armageddon.” Stormare’s additional feature work includes Lars von Trier’s “Dancer in the Dark,” Lasse Hallstrom’s “Chocolat,” Wim Wenders’ “The Million Dollar Hotel,” John Woo’s “Windtalkers,” Jonas Akerlund’s “Spun” and Kevin Donovan’s “The Tuxedo.”
