WINNIPEG — Health Links – Info Sante, Manitoba’s 24-hour telephone information line, was working again Thursday morning after being out of service overnight.
People trying to call the number heard a busy signal.

The problem arose after construction crews accidentally cut cables at Winnipeg’s Misericordia Health Centre, knocking out phone and computer service. The home care after-hours line also stopped working.
In the meantime, people experiencing a medical issue were asked to contact a doctor or go to the emergency room, or to call 911 for immediate emergency help.
