Dr. Travis Stork is an emergency room physician, who practices at a trauma center in his native Colorado when he is not in front of the cameras for The Doctors. His credentials include graduating Magna Cum Laude from Duke University and earning his M.D. with Honors from the University of Virginia. He completed his three-year residency as an emergency room doctor at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tenn.
A fervent believer in good health, Dr. Stork practices what he preaches and likes to teach by example. With his role on The Doctors, he hopes to enlighten viewers on how to attain and maintain good health. "People don’t realize how much control they have over their own health," he said. "Oftentimes, when people come to the ER, it’s already too late. There’s nothing I’d be more proud of as a doctor than reducing the work load for America’s hospitals by teaching viewers how to avoid preventable illnesses."
