Eli Goree

plays this season’s new character Malik — a 19-year old sent to the salon by Letty’s mentor, Pops, to work and keep out of trouble. Goree is making his mark in the film and television industry as a talented actor. His film and television credits include Enough, North/South, Canada Now, Street Cents, The Chosen One, and Sesame Street. He was also host of the Radio show The Big Black Rap Show on CKDU and was the youngest ever Centre for Arts and Tapes New Filmmakers Grant Recipient.
