Now they’ll be able to make those transfers with a new ambulance that has been developed with input from both EMS and members of hospital’s NICU teams.

The new ambulance can transport two incubators at a time; normal ambulances can carry only one at a time.

In addition, a hydraulic lift at the rear of the ambulance can lifts heavy incubators smoothly and safely, and air suspension provides a smooth ride even on bumpy roads.
