“When you have a well lit intersection so close by, it is always the wiser path, as opposed to crossing mid-intersection where vehicles are not expecting a pedestrian,” says Sgt. Duncan Miller.

Traffic Services took over the investigation and officers are looking into what caused the crash.

The road has since been reopened.
