Saskatoon police pinpoint motorists during traffic blitz

SASKATOON – The Saskatoon Police Service has been concentrating efforts this week in two high collision locations during a province-wide initiative.

Officers were set up with radar Thursday at Idylwyld Drive North and 38th Street.

Forty-two vehicles were pulled over resulting in 41 tickets being handed out by police.

On Wednesday, police were keeping an eye on Circle Drive near Taylor Street. That enforcement resulted in 60 tickets.

A two-day provincial traffic blitz, Operation Hang Up, Buckle Up, concluded yesterday in Saskatchewan. SGI will release numbers when available.
