Child rushed to hospital after falling from 2nd-storey window in Calgary

An eight-year-old boy was seriously injured after falling from a second-storey window in Calgary on Tuesday, according to police and EMS.

Emergency workers responded to the 200 block of Pantego Road N.W. after 5:30 p.m.

Police escorted an ambulance with the child inside to the Alberta Children’s Hospital.

EMS said the boy impacted the concrete and sustained several traumatic injuries.
