Kelowna RCMP seized dozens of ecstasy tablets Monday after pulling over a stolen car.
Police ran the license plate of a black Honda that saw driving at 2:15 a.m. near Laurier Avenue and Gagnon Place and discovered it was reported stolen on February 20th.
The officer called for backup and the vehicle was boxed in. A 21-year-old Kelowna man was arrested for possession of stolen property. He was also found to be prohibited from driving at the time he was taken into police custody.
Kyle Kohlman was also found with 118 tablets of what is believed to be MDMA or ecstasy.
RCMP say Kohlman is known to police and has a history of drug and other criminal code convictions.
He’s been remanded to Kamloops Regional Correctional Centre to appear in court at a later date.
