Glee star Cory Monteith, who tragically passed away in a Vancouver hotel room Saturday, is being remembered as a great friend, kind person and talented actor.
The 31-year-old Calgary-born actor was remembered by fans on social media as an influential celebrity who expressed gratitude for his fans and ‘Gleeks.’
Many fans who had met Monteith remembered the actor fondly as a nice, gracious and caring person.
One fan experienced this when she met him on an Air Canada flight from Japan to Vancouver.
A flight attendant approached Monteith and asked him to say a few words on video to her boyfriend’s daughter, Mallory, who is a big fan of the Glee actor.
The flight attendant said he was very friendly and chatty and gladly let her take the video.
“I wanted to record this video for you guys just to let you guys know to ‘stay out of trouble and stay in school,’” Monteith said.
