An Okanagan company has developed a quick and easy system of changing truck bodies.
Dana Simpson of Penticton has spent more than a decade working to perfect his Truck Transformer.
The system is designed for use in medium sized trucks.
It uses a small fork lift system that allows a single operator to change truck bodies.
In just 10 minutes, a flat-deck can be transformed into a cube-van, dump truck or even a recreational vehicle.
Simpson has had enquiries about his system from as far away as New Zealand.
He believes Truck Transformer is unique.
"There is nothing else like this in the world," said Simpson.
It costs approximately $17,500 to install the system, but it allows one vehicle to perform the functions of several trucks without the added cost of insurance and maintenance.
