TORONTO — A collection of A-list stars are heading to Alberta next month to work on director Christopher Nolan’s latest film.
Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain, Michael Caine and Casey Affleck star in Interstellar, a sci-fi flick that explores physicist Kip Thorne’s theories of gravity fields and wormholes.

The movie re-teams Nolan with his The Dark Knight Rises stars Hathaway and Caine.
Cameras are scheduled to roll in and around Calgary — including the town of Okotoks — from August 6 to September 9.

The movie is due to open in cinemas on November 7, 2014.
Interstellar will be a return to Alberta for Hathaway, who starred in Brokeback Mountain.
Scenes for Nolan’s 2010 movie Inception were filmed at Kananaskis Village.
