A 65-year-old Bengough man has been charged with second degree murder.

Tony Warken is charged with killing 65-year-old Gordon Gregson on Nov. 1, 2009. Gregson was found dead in his home. The two men had known each other for "many, many years" according to RCMP Sgt. Paul Dawson.

Warken was arrested yesterday and held by the RCMP. His first court appearance was this morning in Regina. His charges were waived to the court in Moose Jaw. It is unclear whether he remains in custody.

RCMP investigators from Yorkton, Regina and Bengough worked together to lay the charges.
