UPDATE: 4-year-old girl among victims of serious crash near Drumheller

CALGARY- Two STARS air ambulances from both Calgary and Edmonton were dispatched to a serious crash in central Alberta on Friday that left several people injured.

The collision involving two vehicles happened around noon, at Highway 9 and Highway 27 north of Drumheller.

There are reports of multiple injured patients.  A 4-year-old girl in critical condition was flown to Alberta Children’s Hospital, and a  31-year-old woman, also in critical condition, was flown to Foothills Hospital.

Several other people reported to be injured in the crash, but there is still no word on their condition.
