A float plane pilot is being credited with saving three people who had fallen into an ice-cold lake near Whistler.
The Harbour Air pilot was in the process of taking off when he spotted three people in the chilly waters of Green Lake.

They had fallen in after standing up in their canoe to record the takeoff.
They did not have life jackets on.
Hypothermia started setting in quickly.
The pilot radioed for assistance.
Then he moved the plane right next to the victims, so that they could hold on until help arrived.
