CALGARY- An investigation by the Alberta Serious Incident Response Team has led to charges of aggravated assault against three Medicine Hat police officers.
The charges stem from an incident in August, 2012.

Three officers were called to a business in Medicine Hat to investigate an assault complaint.
They took a 34-year-old man into custody, who during the arrest suffered injuries serious enough to require hospitalization and surgery.
Const. Robert Angstadt, Const. David Hrycyk and Const. Marc Seiller have each been charged with one count of aggravated assault.
They have been released from custody and will make their first court appearace on July 30.
