17 stunningly beautiful dancers, moving with intricate precision and grace to blisteringly hot Latin grooves. This is Danza Cuba. Dancer-choreographer Lizt Alfonso was inspired to create this sensual, provocative and totally unique experience, drawing from the rapidly clacking heels of the flamenco, the flowing movements of classical ballet and the hot passion of Afro-Cuban dance.
Havana-based Danza Cuba is now a world-wide phenomenon, shining a spotlight on Latin culture, similar to what Riverdance’s creation has done for Ireland. Accompanied by an on-stage ensemble of remarkable musicians, Lizt Alfonso’s Danza Cuba is exciting, riveting- and highly sensual.
