Come one, come all, to an event so unique you must see it to believe it! Bundle up, head west to Lake Louise and experience the 15th annual ICE MAGIC International Ice Festival. Stroll the shores of Lake Louise, savor a cup of warm hot chocolate from the Chateau and witness the magic first hand. Professional ice carvers from as close as Canmore, Alberta to as far as New Zealand and Russia will fill the shoreline of magical Lake Louise and compete to create the best ice carving to match this year’s theme, Rhythms of Nature within The Canadian Rockies. Twelve teams of three carvers will be given 15 blocks of ice weighing 300 lbs each, which must be transformed into world-class ice sculptures in 34 hours.
