The premier has received a bit of good news ahead of her bid for a seat in a by-election next month in Westside-Kelowna.

According to an Angus Reid poll, Christy Clark is the second-most popular premier in the country.

The new survey finds her approval rating has jumped to 45 per cent, from just 25 per cent before the provincial election.

Clark is second only in popularity to Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall.
