It’s the hottest day of the year, and hundreds of weary people are stranded on Skytrain platforms.
Translink says due to an electrical problem, Skytrain is out of service from the Broadway/Commercial Drive station to Patterson in Burnaby.
No one is trapped in any of the trains, and the cars have their doors open at the stations.
Translink says they are working to set up a "bus bridge" between the two stations. No word on when the system will be back in operation.
