The Vancouver Canucks announced their new coach this afternoon at a 1 pm press conference.
John Tortorella has been suspected as the new bench boss since Friday, when he arrived in Vancouver to meet with team management.
Tortorella is one of the NHL’s most experienced coaches, with over 400 wins and one Stanley Cup under his belt.
