It comes after a woman fell off her bike and was killed by a bus last month.

Commissioner Constance Barnes has tabled a motion that could see widening the causeway and the construction of a protective railing.

But it won’t be an overnight fix. The board will now have to work with the ministry of transportation to come up with short and long-term solutions.
