Adele Sorella found guilty of murdering children

MONTREAL — A jury has found Adele Sorella guilty of the first-degree murders of her two daughters.

The jury delivered its decision on Monday morning in a Laval court, after three days of deliberation.

Adele Sorella was facing two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the deaths of her two children.

Sabrina, 8, and Amanda, 9, were killed inside the family’s home in Laval, a suburb north of Montreal on March 31, 2009.
