Homeless hero saves another

A woman is alive thanks to the selfless act of Winnipeg’s Homeless Hero. Around 1pm, she slipped into the Red River near the Norwood Bridge in Winnipeg. Her boyfriend originally jumped into the water to save her, but according to friends neither of them could swim. It was déjà-vu for Faron Hall, who back in May saved a teen from the Red after he mistakenly, fell in. This afternoon Hall once again found himself coming to the aid of another. He dove into the water and rescued the drowning women. Hall went back into the water to rescue the man, but at this point he had already disappeared. Over the supper hour rescue crews found the man’s body at the bridge. He’s believed to be a 28 year old and Faron Hall’s close friend. No names have been released.
