MEADOWVALE, N.S. – Police say a 37-year-old man has been killed after being struck while walking on a highway in Meadowvale, N.S.
Annapolis County RCMP say the collision occurred at about 2:45 a.m. today on Highway 201.

Police say the preliminary investigation indicates the van struck the pedestrian as it was travelling east.
The man from Middleton was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name was not being released pending notification of his family.
