PEACHLAND — Highway 97 south of Peachland was disrupted for about five hours following a head-on crash between two semis.
The crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. Monday near Brent Road.

“A northbound tractor trailer had apparently crossed the centre line and sideswiped an southbound tractor trailer,” says Cst. Kris Clark.
“The driver of the northbound truck, a 49 year old Oliver man, was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries while the other driver suffered apparent minor injuries.”
Clark says the Oliver man has been ticketed for failing to keep right under the Motor Vehicle Act.
