No obvious mechanical problems with plane that crashed says TSB

SASKATOON – The Transportation Safety Board (TSB) says there were no obvious mechanical problems with a plane that crashed in northern Saskatchewan, killing two people.

Investigator Peter Hildebrand says his team has finished studying the wreckage site and interviewing witnesses.

It will now work on its report into the cause of the crash.

Two men from Whitehorse, Shane Buchanan and his father Charles Buchanan, were on board the small float plane when it went down shortly after takeoff from the North Battleford airport.
