Spirits lifted with Santa Flight

Six children facing life-threatening illnesses got to see what Edmonton looks like to Santa on Christmas Eve.

Telus donated a corporate jet, to give the children and their families Santa Flights Tuesday morning.

Santa and Mrs. Claus met and played with the children, and gave each one a Christmas present before they all took off for a sight-seeing tour over the city.

"Honestly, it makes her forget," said Jolnar Teliani of her daughter Summer. "She was at the hospital yesterday, and today and she’s going back. She’s got MRI’s after CT’s after blood work, and, you know, she gets to forget, she gets to forget all about the hospital."

This is the fifth year for the Telus Santa Flights.
