Clinics in the Moose Jaw area close as doctors await contract resolution

Thirty-nine doctors have closed their clinic doors in the Moose Jaw area today. The physicians have been working without a contract for 19 months and closed their practises today in order to attend a deliberation and study session between the Saskatchewan Medical Association and the Saskatchewan Ministry of Health.

According to the Saskatchewan Medical Associations website, doctors will also be taking part in sessions on physician fatigue, learning how to cope with heavy workloads and long hours.
