Two dead in fatal Weston Rd. shooting

Toronto police are investigating the fatal shooting of two young men in North York on Wednesday night.

Just before 10:30 p.m., officers responded to several calls for gunshots fired in the Weston Road and Lawrence Avenue West area.

Two men, aged 18 and 23, were found at the scene suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were taken to hospital where they died of their injuries.

The names of the victims are not being released.

Police say that a black SUV was seen driving away from the scene, northbound on Weston Road, towards Lawrence Avenue West.
