UPDATE: Bow Tower reopens after Tuesday’s evacuation

CALGARY – It should be business as usual at the Bow tower on Wednesday,  following the building’s evacuation the day before.

Employees were rushed out of Calgary’s tallest building around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, after a suspicious man was spotted in secure areas of the office tower.

The person was seen on a number of different floors, and there was a concern he may have been a threat.

Officers began evacuating the building one floor at a time, and a number of emergency crews rushed to the scene. The elevators were shut down, forcing people to walk down several flights of stairs to get out.
