Two men are in hospital after a small plane crashed in eastern Manitoba Tuesday.
The single-engine float plane took off from the Lac du Bonnet area at about 9 a.m. and crashed in a field a short time later, RCMP said. Mounties say there were advised of the crash by a witness in the area.
There were two men on board; police say they went to hospital with “undetermined injuries”.
According to the Canadian Civil Aircraft Registry, the plane is a Cessna 180 built in 1956. Since 1993 it has been registered to Vernon Guttman of Whiteshell Resources.
